Initiatives and Programs
We are guided in our work by members of the TTL Advisory Board, which represents faculty across all schools and colleges of the University.
Our Shared Interest Groups (SIGs) explore broad topics during the academic and share their findings with faculty in the form of workshops and “lunch and learns.”
TTL Fellows are afforded the opportunity to do a “deep dive” into some aspect of pedagogy. They share their work with an audience of their choosing, such as a scholarly journal, conference, or TTL workshop.
Faculty can also share their expertise by contributing to our Facebook group. Additionally, Buzzwords features conversations with SU community members about teaching and learning.
We offer events throughout the year designed to foster community among faculty and promote excellence in teaching.
In collaboration with the University Libraries, we maintain a lending collection of books on a range of topics in teaching, learning, and professional development. View our collection in Worldcat, or stop by the first floor of Smith Library to browse our shelves.
